Four-year-olds unleashed this weekend - but what have we been waiting for?

The first weekend in February has become one of the key dates in the National Hunt calendar and not just because of the Dublin Racing Festival.
For point-to-pointing, it marks the first chance to see the next generation of four-year-olds being let loose with many new stars undoubtedly among them.
Last year this corresponding weekend attracted a strong entry in the younger age division, with the four-year-old maiden races at each of the three meetings Ballinaboola (26), Bellharbour (27) and Tallow (25) attracting a total of 78 entries.
