Representatives of the online gambling industry said they hoped to maintain dialogue with politicians after appearing before the latest meeting of the All Party Parliamentary Group on gambling-related harm.

Remote Gambling Association chief executive Wes Himes said there had been a reasonable and constructive discussion at last week's session.

However, after the meeting the APPG's chair Carolyn Harris MP called on individual online gambling operators to appear publicly before the committee in September "to answer questions on the harm they are causing".
