Hogan's novice could be an Irregular talent

It is a first for a faller to get an entry in this column, but The Irregular should win plenty of races over fences judged on this performance.
He showed a good attitude to win a handicap hurdle at Clonmel in December and was a 33-1 shot for his chasing debut at Thurles in a beginners chase with strength in depth.
Held up early, he jumped well and gradually got into the contest before his effort flattened out a little after two out, while his fall at the final fence was due to being overly brave if anything.
