Danny Mullins confident of a bold show from Flooring Porter at Leopardstown

Jockey Danny Mullins is confident Flooring Porter will come on for his reappearance run when he contests the Grade 1 Jack de Bromhead Christmas Hurdle at Leopardstown on December 28.

The back-to-back Stayers’ Hurdle winner could finish only fourth in the Lismullen Hurdle at Navan last month but Mullins, who is having an excellent season, believes Gavin Cromwell’s stable star will step up on that effort.

“I was pleased with him at Navan,” said Mullins. “I know we got beaten – and well beaten at that – but I think Gavin made it clear it was going to be a starting point for him.
