Six key runners in the race to succeed Nick Rust as next BHA chief executive

Nick Rust's decision to stand down as chief executive of the BHA at the end of 2020 means there is not a pressing urgency to find his successor.
The governing body said it would begin the process of selecting a new chief executive "in the next few weeks".
None of the three full-time chief executives of the BHA was an internal appointment, Nic Coward coming from the Football Association, Paul Bittar from Racing Victoria, although he had worked for the BHA's predecessor the BHB, and Rust from the betting industry.
