There is nothing quite like a Group 1 triumph to lift spirits, but jockey Dean Yendall's description of his feelings after I Am A Star's victory in the Myer Classic at Flemington on Saturday were a little too graphic for the stewards' liking.

Moments after the half-length victory over French Emotion, Yendall was approached by a mounted interviewer from Channel Seven and, displaying a bit of emotion himself, blurted out that he had "a raging horn right now".

The 32-year-old was called in by stewards to explain his remark on national television, a remark that caused a stir on social media.
