France's racehorse retraining charity, Au-Dela des Pistes, is once again relying on the generosity of racing professionals to support the Arc Promise by donating a percentage of their winnings from the weekend.

Last year's inaugural drive – based on a concept pioneered by the Breeders' Cup – raised more than €70,000 and plenty of the jockeys, trainers, owners and breeders who supported the scheme found their way to the Longchamp winner's enclosure, including those associated with the first three home in the Arc, Sottsass, In Swoop and Persian King.

France Galop has this year pledged the proceeds of ticket sales for the Arc Tribune grandstand and the Association of Trainers will make a donation for every victory recorded by one of their members on Saturday and Sunday.

Jockeys Christophe Soumillon and Mickael Barzalona have already renewed their pledge for 2021, as have many of France's major owners including the Aga Khan, Godolphin and the Wertheimers.

Any visiting professionals wishing to pledge to the cause should visit audeladespistes.fr or contact Lisa-Jane Graffard.
