Another big weekend? Dan Skelton 'super happy' with Coral Gold Cup hope Le Milos

Fresh from Protektorat’s performance in the Betfair Chase, trainer Dan Skelton is eyeing more big weekend success and believes Coral Gold Cup contender Le Milos is a big player in Saturday’s £250,000 handicap chase (3.05 Saturday).

A four-time chase winner from eight starts, Le Milos joined Skelton from Tim Vaughan in the summer and struck on his stable debut at Bangor this month.

The going description was heavy that day but Skelton does not envisage a sounder surface – it is expected to be no softer than good at Newbury – being a hindrance.
