Paul Nicholls is eager to plunder more of Britain's top races this winter following an "absolutely incredible" week that saw him usurp Fergal O'Brien at the top of the jumps trainers' championship.

Victory with popular chaser Frodon headlined a four-timer at Wincanton on Saturday, with a double at Sandown on Sunday capping a remarkable 14 winners last week for the Ditcheat trainer.

"It's been absolutely incredible and it's brilliant to see the horses all running so well," Nicholls said. "Saturday was a special day but it's been a great week, I'm very lucky to be involved.
