2022 York Ebor tips: Saturday's best bets from our Racing Post experts
Day four of the York Ebor festival is here – but who do our top tipsters fancy most?
Caius Chorister
By Kevin Morley
Race:2.25 York (Sky Bet Melrose Handicap)
Odds: 17-2
The two to hit all trends are Soul Stopper and Caius Chorister. Slight preference is for the latter, who has won her last five and has shaped as though this longer trip will suit with her pedigree backing that up.
Rohaan
By Robbie Wilders
Race: 3.00 York (Group 2 Sky Bet City of York Stakes)
Odds: 13-2
Rohaan's three best performances have come over six furlongs at Ascot, one of the stiffest tracks around, and over six and a half at Deauville in the Group 1 Prix Maurice de Gheest.
This test will suit this fast finisher and he looks overpriced compared with the established seven-furlong specialists.
Earl Of Tyrone
By Richard Austen
Race:3.35 York (Sky Bet Ebor Handicap)
Odds: 5-1
Transformed this season, Earl Of Tyrone can win his fourth race in a row. There was never any doubt about the outcome once he took over early in the straight for his three Irish wins and his latest form, in a Listed race, has received multiple boosts.
Veteran Euchen Glen is feared most judged on the revival he produced when looking unlucky at Goodwood, while another big prize may not prove beyond Get Shirty.
