The Darley Yorkshire Oaks brings together some of the best fillies and mares around, and this year Snowfall attempts to emulate Enable by completing an Oaks hat-trick after victories in the Oaks and Irish Oaks already this season.

3.35 York Thursday: Darley Yorkshire Oaks racecard and betting

1 Albaflora

Won Listed event (soft); Wonderful Tonight put her firmly in her place on last two outings

Trainer: Ralph Beckett
Jockey: Rossa Ryan
Odds: 33-1

2 Wonderful Tonight

If getting testing ground (may get away with good to soft) she's a worthy rival for Snowfall

Trainer: David Menuisier
Jockey: William Buick
Odds: 9-2

3 Divinely

Hardly in same parish as Snowfall in the Oaks or Irish Oaks but runner-up in the latter

Trainer: Aidan O'Brien
Jockey: Wayne Lordan
Odds: 66-1

4 Eshaada

Made up plenty of ground when second to Loving Dream in the Ribblesdale on just third start

Trainer: William Haggas
Jockey: Jim Crowley
Odds: 11-1

5 La Joconde

Made the running in the Irish Oaks last time; a similar role may await her

Trainer: Aidan O'Brien
Jockey: Hollie Doyle
Odds: 100-1

6 Loving Dream

Held off Eshaada to win Ribblesdale at Royal Ascot (1m4f, good to firm); much more needed

Trainer: John and Thady Gosden
Jockey: Frankie Dettori
Odds: 20-1

7 Snowfall

Routed her opponents in the Oaks at Epsom and Irish Oaks on good ground at the Curragh

Trainer: Aidan O'Brien
Jockey: Ryan Moore
Odds: 2-5 favourite

The verdict

Wonderful Tonight against Snowfall could be a serious race on testing ground. On good or firmer, Snowfall has much less to prove.
