The Punt Daily: three to follow on a star-studded Saturday

EYECATCHER
Brametot(3.50 Ascot)
This dual French Classic winner was back to form when fifth in the Arc last time and was better than the bare result as he ran into a horse back-pedalling. The 1m2f is probably more to his liking and he can serve it up to Cracksman, who is a terrible price on all known form. (Paul Kealy)
DARK HORSE
Orion's Bow(3.30 Catterick)
Has run badly the last three times he's run but there were excuses on the ground front on all three occasions. He's taking a big drop in class here and races off a 9lb lower mark than when fifth to Danzeno at Ascot in July. He has a sassive chance at his best and David Allan chooses him over Tim Easterby's other two runners. (Tom Segal)
EACH-WAY PLAY
Alyssa (2.40 Ascot)
I don't think there's an awful lot between a lot of these and there are worse longshots than the hardy Alyssa, who won the Noel Murless Stakes over 1m6f at this track last season and has a penchant for soft ground. A career best performance in the Group 2 Park Hill Stakes has since been franked by Aljezeera at Yarmouth and fourth-placed Detailed has also won since. If ridden prominently the drop back in trip shouldn't be a concern and owner Kirsten Rausing won this race with Madame Chiang in 2014. (Maddy Playle)
