Impaire Et Passe wasn't at his best when beaten ten and a half lengths by Ballyburn at Leopardstown last time, but he did win a Grade 1 at Limerick on his run before that, and Willie Mullins decided to skip Cheltenham to keep him fresh for this, which is his perfect trip. His nose victory over Bob Olinger in the Aintree Hurdle at last year's meeting looks strong, given that rival won the Stayers' Hurdle at Cheltenham, and I think Mullins will have Impaire Et Passe cherry ripe here.

2.55 Aintree: Brooklands Golden Miller Chronograph Bowl Chase 

Not seen since finishing fifth in the King George, but nothing went right for him that day and it is easy to put a line through the performance. His start before he was beaten just half a length by runaway Ryanair winner Fact To File, finishing a place in front of Galopin Des Champs which is top form. He's had just two runs this season and coming here fresh could be a big advantage.
