Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's seven meetings

Saturday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Ascot

2.00: Creative Force

Art Power is capable of winning a Group 1 under the right circumstances and if ridden with a shade more restraint he should be a big factor on the stand rail while Rohaan has a good chance if getting away on terms. Creative Force (nap) wasn't at his best at Haydock last month but signalled there was more to come when a strong finisher in the July Cup and these conditions should be just the ticket. Last year's winner Glen Shiel disappointed here recently but the superb 2020 runner-up Brando retains all his ability and can once again outrun a big price.
Emily Weber

Catterick

4.50: Bollin Neil

Last year's winner Bollin Neil (nap) has finished first or second on his four visits to Catterick this year and that course form is a persuasive factor. He gets the nod ahead of Novis Adventus, who was an encouraging fourth at Epsom last time out in July and has been dropped a further 4lb. Lord Torranaga and Overthink are others to consider.
Ben Hutton

Ffos Las

4.35: Cormier

It's questionable whether Cormier (nap) was unlucky not to land the Grade 3 Swinton Hurdle at Haydock in May, given the winner did it quite stylishly, but the Brian Ellison-trained five-year-old encountered some significant traffic problems in the home straight and deserves credit for running on to take second. He can gain compensation off a 3lb higher mark here. Unexposed Dobryn is feared most but class act Ballyandy is now 3lb lower than when second in this race a year ago and 2019 winner Monsieur Lecoq is also back on good mark.

Leopardstown

2.05: Ninja

Don't be fooled into thinking Ninja (nap) was disappointing at Navan. The bare facts tell you he finished eighth of 16 but he shaped with far more promise than the result suggests and is fancied to give Aidan O'Brien a third straight win in this maiden, 12 months after Bolshoi Ballet did the business. Good Heavens has an obvious chance but didn't take a good opportunity latest. The newcomer Downing Street, who is a brother to Derby winner Serpentine, is a fascinating runner.
David Jennings

Market Rasen

3.20: Casablanca Mix

Francky Du Berlais was on fire during the summer but the combination of a three-month break and a 10lb hit could stall his progress. Captain Tommy is well in with the top weight on a previous clash and he's respected, as are Senior Citizen and Red Risk. However, the likeable Casablanca Mix (nap) has perhaps the most convincing credentials with so much in her favour. Captain Tommy is feared most.
Alistair Jones

Stratford

4.05: Whispering Gypsy

Pillar Of Steel has already enjoyed a productive season and the form of her latest win has been very well advertised by the runner-up but one with more potential is Whispering Gypsy (nap), who rewarded strong market support when winning a Warwick novice last month and now makes her handicap debut. Crystal Gazing, another recent Warwick winner, might also have more to offer.
Chris Wilson

Wolverhampton

6.30: Aramis Grey

Recent course maiden winner Dubai Hope could easily have more to offer in handicaps, while Restless Endeavour is respected after shaping quite well at Goodwood last weekend, but Aramis Grey (nap) had a bit up her sleeve over course-and-distance last time and can show that she is still a step ahead of the handicapper.
