Preview
G2 Esports v Virtus Pro
Counter Strike: Global Offensive, IEM Katowice 2022
Counter Strike: Global Offensive sides G2 Esports and Virtus Pro are each three wins away from winning the IEM Katowice in Poland after reaching the playoff stage, which starts on Friday.
The winners of this clash will go on to play Natus Vincere in the tournament's semi-finals and, at the prices, Virtus Pro are worth chancing.
Both of these teams directly qualified for the Katowice tournament and Virtus Pro reached the playoffs after winning two of their three matches in the upper bracket in Group A.
As for G2 Esports, they were knocked down to the lower bracket in Group B and have looked too shaky in the tournament to warrant backing at odds-on this Friday. Back Virtus Pro to win.
Team Liquid v Golden Guardians
League of Legends, LCS Spring
Now that he has acquired his green card, veteran support player Jo "CoreJJ" Yong-In is back in action for Team Liquid and he made an immediate impact in week three of the LCS Spring Split.
In his first match back for Liquid, "CoreJJ" had an 86 per cent kill participation rate and has helped his side to move top of the Spring Split standings with a 5-1 win-loss record.
They are progressing well and are unsurprisingly short odds to beat Golden Guardians on Friday, so backing them to win the kill handicap in the first map of the match could be the way to go.
Immortals v FlyQuest
League of Legends, LCS Spring
Defeat to strugglers Team SoloMid was a huge setback for Immortals in the LCS Spring last week and they could have more misery heaped on them by FlyQuest.
Immortals recovered to beat Evil Geniuses in week three of the Split but have an underwhelming 2-4 record heading into week four and could be out of their depth against FlyQuest, who are setting the tone in the LCS with five wins from their six matches.
