Caroline Wozniacki has dropped just four games in her opening two matches at the WTA Tour finals in Singapore and she can maintain her perfect Red Group record by beating Caroline Garcia.

The match is of greater importance to Garcia, who is battling with Simona Halep and Elina Svitolina to claim the last semi-final place.

Wozniacki is assured of a last-four berth after stunning victories over Svitolina (6-2 6-0) and Halep (6-0 6-2) but the Dane will want to put in another good performance and go into the next round in the best possible frame of mind.

Garcia fought hard to see off Svitolina 6-7 6-3 7-5 on Wednesday but might not have much left in the tank and could be easy prey for Wozniacki, who looks a solid odds-on favourite.

David Goffin continues his battle to secure a place in the men’s World Tour finals when facing Jack Sock in the ATP Swiss Indoors quarter-finals. The Belgian is 4-9 to prevail.
