US Open starts 4pm Monday

Novak Djokovic is 5-4 favourite for the US Open, the final major of the season, which starts in New York on Monday.

Bookmakers still reckon the big three of Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer are the trio to beat and make Nadal 7-2 and Federer 8-1.

It's 16-1 bar three and that takes in Cincinnati Masters champion Daniil Medvedev, who defeated Djokovic on the way to lifting the Mason trophy. And then it's 33-1 bar four with Dominic Thiem that price and Alexander Zverev and Stefanos Tsitsipas 40-1 shots.

In the women's singles, veteran Serena Williams is the 5-1 market leader with Wimbledon champion Simona Halep 8-1, Ash Barty 10-1 and top seed Naomi Osaka 11-1.

Canada Open heroine Bianca Andreescu is 14-1, with Cincy champ Madison Keys and Karolina Pliskova 16-1 shots. It's 28-1 bar the top seven in the betting.
