Talented Anna Blinkova expected to continue her indoor title tilt

Mandy Minella worked overtime to defeat top seed Mihaela Buzarnescu 6-4 5-7 6-4 in her Limoges Open curtain-raiser but she will do well to carry on the good work against Anna Blinkova.

Blinkova, 20, is one of the more promising of the young Russians yet to break through. She finished strongly in her Limoges opener to oust Paula Badosa 4-6 6-2 6-0.

Muscovite Blinkova beat Minella 6-3 4-6 6-4 in Limoges three years ago and she has a great chance to improve her record in their personal series.
