Mumbai Open, 9.30am Thursday

Aryna Sabalenka has a decent chance of ending the season by nailing a minor tournament title and the Belarusian could kick on in the Mumbai Open with a comfortable victory over Jia-Jing Lu.

Sabalenka is just 1-5 with Paddy Power, so take a chance and back the top seed at 8-13 to triumph in straight sets.

Anyone who did that in Sabalenka's opener against Priscilla Hon will have been well pleased with her 7-5 6-1 victory.

And considering Sabalenka did not have to rush to India in the fraught manner that she travelled from the Fed Cup final in Minsk to Taipei last week, she should be much better prepared seven days on.

Lu is one of a number of Chinese players who have plenty of potential for improvement. But the clash is more about the physically strong Sabalenka, who has the capacity to overpower many of her rivals.

Naomi Broady did well to deny Bibiane Schoofs in her Mumbai opener, but surprise results are often the norm at this time of the season so even though she should win, the Briton makes no appeal at 2-7 against Junri Namigata.

Recommendation
A Sabalenka to win 2-0
1pt 8-13 Paddy Power
