This week's Croatia Open will tell us just how badly David Goffin was injured when colliding with tarpaulin at the rear of a court in the French Open early last month.

It looked a nasty injury – his foot was twisted – and Goffin tweeted pictures of his leg in a brace in the days after the clay-court Grand Slam.

Goffin won his first match on his return but that was against lowly Hungarian Attila Balazs and things could be tougher against home favourite Ivan Dodig.

The Croat has already seen off Marius Copil and Marco Cecchinato in decent style on the Umag clay and Dodig could pose problems for Goffin if the Belgian is still not fully over his injury.

The choice looks to be to back Dodig at 4-6 with a start of 5.5 games or the clash to last for more than 19.5 games at 8-11 and slight preference is for option two.

Ana Bogdan has been showing greater determination of late and the Romanian is worth a bet at 4-5 in receipt of 5.5 games against Anastasija Sevastova.

Latvian Sevastova has been busy – she won her second title on grass in Majorca last month.

But while she may be intent on climbing even higher in the WTA chart than her current ranking of 17th in the world, Bogdan has shown enough to warrant support in front of her home fans.

Three matches at Wimbledon, two of them in the qualifying tournament and one in the main draw, and one match at the French Open, are to be investigated by the Tennis Integrity Unit for potential match-fixing after unusual betting patterns were reported.
