Tatjana Maria is enjoying a rare stint as a tournament top seed in Bogota but the German may have to toil in her second Copa Claro Colsanitas outing.

Maria lines up against Daniela Seguel, who does not lack confidence, and the Chilean qualifier could be worth a bet to make life difficult for her more experienced rival.

Seguel has been backed to upset Maria, but considering the favourite has been doing some of her best career work in recent seasons it may pay to take the odds-on about the outsider winning at least a set.

In Houston, Ryan Harrison saw early punter support to beat Taylor Fritz but the Californian is a huge talent and merits respect.
