Coric could settle into showdown with Federer

ATP Indian Wells semi-finals
Sky Arena, 6pm Saturday

Roger Federer is prohibitively priced to reach his eighth BNP Paribas Open final with a victory over Borna Coric and with the match odds out of bounds for most punters, most business could be seen on total games over/under markets.

Coric is good enough to become a top-ten player, but the Croat was 750-1 with Sky Bet at the outset. Few rags rumble the big guns in the desert and it would be a huge upset if Federer comes unstuck.

In his last three appearances at the Tennis Garden Federer has semi-final wins over Jack Sock (6-1 7-6 in 2017), Milos Raonic (7-5 6-4 in 2015) and Alexandr Dolgopolov (6-3 6-1 in 2014).

The world number one is playing superbly well in general, but Coric is no mug despite the fact that this is his first Masters Series 1,000 semi-final.

It's 10-11 that set two lasts for ten games or more and with Coric hopefully over any nerves by that stage of the match, that could be worth an interest.

Recommendation
Second set over 9.5 games
1pt 10-11 Betfair, Coral, Paddy Power
