Day five preview

With Dominic Thiem already qualified, Rafael Nadal and Stefanos Tsitsipas take each other on in Group London 2020 with a place in the semi-finals of the ATP Tour Finals up for grabs.

Nadal has never won this event and would dearly love to change that this week but if he is to have a chance he must first defeat Tsitsipas, who won this title when he defeated Thiem in last year's final.

The Greek clearly likes it at the O2 Arena but Nadal has largely held sway in their personal series, leading 5-1 in head-to-head meetings.

Nadal was beaten by Thiem on Tuesday but both men played to a high level and a replication of that performance could well see off Tsitsipas. Take Nadal giving up 2.5 games on the handicap.

In the earlier contest, it may pay to chance Andrey Rublev getting back to winning ways against Thiem, who may look to save energy with his passage confirmed.

Rublev is playing for pride following back-to-back losses but there are also ranking points and cash on the line for the Russian, who has beaten Thiem in each of their last two meetings.
