ATP Argentina Open
Second round matches from 5.30pm Thursday

Former Briton Aljaz Bedene, who now represents his native Slovenia, silenced home hope Diego Schwartzman on his way to the final in Buenos Aires last season and he could be overpriced to repeat the trick in this term's second-round clash.

Schwartzman is a class act on his day but his four meetings with Bedene have all ended in defeat, with three of those reverses coming on his favoured slower surface.

Armed with home advantage, Schwartzman is still a worthy favourite. But he was beaten in straight sets at last week's Cordoba Open by compatriot Guido Pella and 7-4 quotes may be doing Bedene a disservice.

The Slovenian showed his wellbeing with routine wins over Max Marterer and the quirky but talented Fabio Fognini in his Cordoba outings and he could be hitting peak form at the right time.

Recommendation
A Bedene
1pt 7-4 general
