PSV Eindhoven v Willem II
All PSV Eindhoven can do is keep up the pressure on Ajax at the top of the Eredivisie and hope the league leaders slip up in the last four games.
The Red and Whites were victorious in the Dutch Cup and will be hoping that win puts a dent in the Amsterdam side’s confidence for their run-in.
One slip up along the way for PSV was their 2-1 defeat to Willem II earlier in the campaign and they need to take all three points from this reverse fixture to keep alive any faint title hopes.
Key to their success may be youngster Cody Gakpo. The forward is joint-top scorer with 14 goals in all competitions and was rested against Cambuur last time out so looks likely to return here. The 23-20 for the exciting 22-year-old to get on the scoresheet is more than fair.
Udinese v Inter
Inter squandered an opportunity to go top of Serie A by losing their game in hand 2-1 to Bologna. Rivals Milan remain two points clear but face a tougher last four games than Inter, who start the final stretch with this visit to Udinese.
The home team have been in good form, winning four of their last six games and scoring 17 goals in that stretch.
Three of Udinese’s last four have gone over 3.5 goals and more of the same is fancied when they host Inter, the division’s top scorers.
Simeone Inzaghi’s men have netted 72 times this season and as they visit the top scorers in the bottom half, another high-scoring affair looks likely.
Rayo Vallecano v Real Sociedad
Rayo Vallecano have caused a number of upsets this year, none bigger than their 1-0 win over Barcelona in the Camp Nou last time out.
However before that they had won just one of their last 13 in all competitions and Real Sociedad should have the edge over them when the two sides meet.
The visitors were beaten 1-0 by Barcelona last time out but it was a closer game than that scoreline gives them credit for.
La Real could still sneak into a Champions League spot, although they may have to settle for the Europa League but they should be able to keep up the pressure on their rivals for those spots with a win in this encounter.
