Semi-finals preview

Only five celebrities remain in this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing, which reaches the semi-final stage on Sunday.

Actress Kym Marsh became the latest to leave last time out, failing to hit the mark with her cha-cha-cha to Fame in Musicals Week, and Molly Rainford is 10-11 to be eliminated next.

At one stage, singer and actress Rainford looked like a dark horse to win the series but she and dance partner Carlos Gu have found themselves in the bottom two in two of the last three shows, including last week's.

Rainford and Gu still received a 38 out of 40 for their Charleston to Hot Honey Rag from Chicago but the competition is intensifying and the pair are clearly not as popular as the other remaining contestants.

The celebrities are set to perform two dances this week and bookmakers still have cameraman Hamza Yassin as favourite to win the show at a best-priced 8-11.

Yassin's closest competition appears to be former Blue Peter presenter Helen Skelton, who can be backed at 11-8.
