Final preview

After two and a half months of jives, sambas and paso dobles, this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing comes to an end with the final on Saturday night.

Will Mellor became the latest celebrity to bow out of the contest along with partner Nancy Xu in the semi-finals in week 12 with their paso doble to Uccen and their Couple's Choice to Know How failing to hit the mark with viewers.

Former X Factor contestant Fleur East, wildlife presenter and cameraman Hamza Yassin, TV presenter Helen Skelton and actress and singer Molly Rainford are the last remaining and one of them stands out above the rest.

Yassin, the last remaining man in the competition, is a 4-9 shot to claim the Glitterball, having been the frontrunner in the outright betting for a number of weeks.

His light turn of foot coupled with his warm, charismatic charm has gone down well with the audience and he looks a good thing to go the distance.

Yassin, who has been linked with having his own nature-themed TV show after the conclusion of Strictly Come Dancing, would be a worthy winner having scored 453 points accumulated over 13 dances - more than any other celebrity.

Skelton is the most likely to spring a surprise according to the betting - the former Blue Peter presenter is 9-5 to win and 4-9 to be top woman.
