Zhou Yuelong looks ready to secure a Crucible berth

Tom Ford tops the betting to qualify for the Betfred World Championship from Group Two, but the value could lie with brilliant Chinese youngster Zhou Yuelong.

There are a raft of talented young players from China bidding to relieve Ding Junhui of the country's number one ranking and Zhou is right in the mix.

Yan Bingtao probably has a more effective all-round game at the moment, but Zhou's natural ability means it may not be long before he is beating everyone on the main tour.

Michael White is the 11-8 favourite to make his class felt in Group 15 and while the Welsh ace has not always shone in the Crucible qualifiers, he ought to this season.

Jimmy Robertson, John Astley and Sam Baird provide the chief opposition, but White is talented enough to win the world title one day, so should stamp his mark in his section.
