Seasoned cueman Day looks ready to end Belgian's run
Brecel may be overrated after China Championship triumph

English Open
Eurosport 1 & Quest, 1pm & 7pm Tuesday
There are 30 English Open first-round matches for punters to get stuck into on day two and bookmakers may have taken their eye off the ball in rating Ryan Day 10-11 to beat Luca Brecel.
Day, who possesses bags of class, finally landed his first ranking title when winning the Riga Masters in June. Dynamite is 37-years-old but that maiden crown could help him return to the sort of form that saw him reach number six in the world in the 2009-10 season.
The Welshman was beaten by Peter Lines in the European Masters earlier this month, but prior to that he knocked in five breaks of more than 50 in a commanding 6-1 win over Chen Zifan in the International Championship qualifiers.
He also dropped just one frame in his recent Shanghai Masters qualifier which suggests the Pontycymer potter is in decent nick and could be primed for a good run this week.
Brecel looks to be coming of age and his China Championship title triumph in August and World Open semi-final placing in September suggests the Belgian is closing in on the sport's top table.
However, he will need to be at his best to see off a high-quality, experienced breakbuilder like Day and Brecel may be a little overrated by the layers.
Elsewhere, Neil Robertson should have few worries against Welsh youngster Billy Joe Castle, while Mark Selby opens his title tilt against determined Scot Scott Donaldson.
