Saturday's semi-final preview

Jimmy Robertson upset Luca Brecel in round one and he produced his biggest shock when toppling defending champion John Higgins in the quarter-finals.

J-Rob went off 9-4 against Brecel, 10-3 against Higgins and he is now 7-2 to beat Neil Robertson and book his place in the final.

It's clearly a big ask for the Bexhill cueman, but he looks up to at least keeping tabs on the Aussie.

Neil Robertson was mighty impressive when beating Ronnie O'Sullivan to reach the last four, but he was far less convincing against Kyren Wilson in round one and there's no guarantee of the performance level that downed the Rocket.

Of course, if Jimmy Robertson gets close to the winning line, and a place in the final the pressure will build, but all of the expectation is on his Aussie opponent and that should allow J-Rob to relax.

The outsider is a 6-5 shot receiving a 2.5-frame start and he looks value for another bold show.
