They're down to the last four in Daqing with Mark Selby taking on new world number one Judd Trump in the first of the semi-finals and defending champion Mark Allen meeting Shaun Murphy a day later.

Selby versus Trump could be a thriller. The pair know each other's games well – they have met on 27 occasions with Selby leading 14-13. With so little in it in their personal series, it could come down to whoever is feeling in the mood for it on the day.

Trump has stepped up his form in recent times – he played some scintillating stuff to win his maiden world title in May.

But it would be wrong to rule out Selby, one of the finest players in recent history, returning to his best and upsetting the title favourite.

Take the Championship League out of the equation and Trump has won their last three key clashes 6-2, 6-2 and 5-1. That aggregate of 17-5 could take some reversing.
