Friday's World Open quarter-finals betting preview and when to watch
Stuart Bingham flying but Higgins could still prove a major obstacle in Yushan
When to watch
Eurosport 1, 6.30am & 11.30am Friday
Preview
Stuart Bingham's reward for a scintillating run of form against Mark Selby in the World Open is a quarter-final clash with John Higgins in Yushan.
Bingham posted breaks of 108, 97, 114, 104 and 117 in five successive frames to beat the English Open champion 5-3.
This could be Higgins' biggest test of the tournament yet, but the seasoned Scot looks to be cueing well himself.
The oddsmakers expect title favourite Judd Trump to see off Michael Holt, although this is the Hitman's best event for a long time.
Earlier in the day, David Gilbert will probably prove too strong for Thepchaiya Un-Nooh, but Kyren Wilson faces a potentially tough test against talented youngster Zhou Yuelong.
