Tom Ford stands in the way of Ronnie O'Sullivan reaching his eighth Betway UK Championship final and the outsider is unlikely to deny the reigning champion at York's Barbican Centre.

Ford downed Joe Perry 6-2 in the last eight but O'Sullivan should be a bridge too far for the 400-1 Leicester potter, who is enjoying a career-best run.

O'Sullivan pulled away to defeat 1,000-1 Martin O'Donnell 6-1 with the aid of a couple of tons and it could be worth chancing that the Rocket does likewise against Ford.
