Ryan Day is one win away from back-to-back titles and it could pay to support the flying Welshman in his Romanian Masters final clash with Stuart Bingham.

It's best of 19 frames in the Bucharest decider and Day, who landed his second title of the season in the Gibraltar Open last weekend, is playing well enough to make it three.

It has always been a question of belief with Day, who is a naturally heavy scorer, and considering the form he has been showing in the last fortnight it could pay to stick with him.

Bingham was crowned world champion in 2015 and the Essex ace is bidding for a comeback title after serving a six-month ban for betting indiscretions.

He is playing well, but if Day finds his rhythm in the final he is good enough to continue his title-winning form.

The Welshman defeated Kyren Wilson 5-0 in the last four with the aid of consecutive breaks of 91, 120 and 87. A reproduction of that scoring power would make Day tough to stop.

Bingham posted a run of 137, the tournament's highest break, in round one against Neil Robertson. He had enough to see off Ali Carter 5-2 in the last four with compilations of 58, 63 and 76 but things could be tougher in the final.
