Kyren Wilson has done well to dig in and keep alive his hopes of back-to-back titles in the wake of his fine triumph in the German Masters on Sunday, but the Warrior could face a tough time trying to fend off Barry Hawkins in their Coral World Grand Prix quarter-final.

Wilson fought back from 3-0 down to pip Matthew Stevens at Cheltenham racecourse on Wednesday and found it easier to see off Stuart Bingham 4-0 in the last 16.

The Kettering ace is doing no harm to his chances of a good run at the Crucible this year, but he may start feeling the pace soon after a busy run of games.

Hawkins is also playing near his peak and can be backed with a handicap start of 1.5 frames.

Mark Selby will meet Judd Trump in a battle of the title favourites. Trump has been achieving more recently but Selby is still the world number one.
