Lommel champion Jimmy Robertson could trouble veteran Davis

Day two
ITV4, 1pm & 7pm Tuesday

It's best of seven frames early on in the Coral World Grand Prix and given that Jimmy Robertson is already a title winner this season, Mark Davis may do well to progress before his opponent wins three frames.

Davis remains a fine match-player at his peak but he hasn't been at his best for much of the campaign, while J-Rob should be a much more complete and confident performer following his European Masters title triumph in Belgium in October.

Robertson is 8-11 with a handicap start of 1.5 frames and can make this competitive if he digs in early.

Judd Trump opens his title tilt in Cheltenham with a clash against Stuart Carrington.

Grimsby cueman Carrington is not the most consistent performer on tour, but he can be difficult to beat when he finds his form. He can be considered with a start of 2.5 frames, but opposing Masters champion Trump carries plenty of risk.
