Match preview

It looks set to be a Sunday sizzler in Milton Keynes as Judd Trump and John Higgins clash in the Coral Tour Championship.

The opening round of action has set up a repeat of last year's Betfred World Championship final. Trump lifted the Sheffield showpiece for the first time after an 18-9 win but another victory over Higgins may not be as likely as the prices suggest.

The Ace currently holds six ranking titles, the latest a win in the low-key Gibraltar Open in March, the final tournament to be played prior to snooker shutting down. However, while Trump had been in brilliant form, that was a few months ago now, and the prices seem to take it as a given that the Bristol cueman will return in that touch.

Either way, Trump is likely to need to be near his best to beat Higgins, who remains one of snooker's top performers.

The Wizard of Wishaw has reached the final of the Betfred World Championship for three years running and can still raise his game for the big occasion.

It isn't the Crucible Theatre but it's a multi-session best-of-17-frame format at the Marshall Arena and that makes Higgins worth a small bet at 3-1.
