Match preview

There's usually little to choose between Mark Allen and Shaun Murphy and that is reflected in the prices for Tuesday's Coral Tour Championship clash.

However, on this occasion everything seems to be in Murphy's favour and it's surprising to see the 2005 world champion on the drift.

The Magician opened up as a 4-7 shot and the latest offer of 4-6 makes plenty of appeal.

Murphy has enjoyed a fantastic season and is the number two seed in this event.

Excluding the short-format Championship League, Allen has managed to win just five matches in the last seven events he has entered and there wasn't much of a hint that the Pistol was ready to fire again in Milton Keynes earlier this month.

Murphy is unlikely to want to humiliate his good friend but the Magician is a professional operator and could run out a comfortable winner.
