Marco Fu is showing signs that a return to his former lofty status in the game could be possible and the Hong Kong ace looks a shade of value to kick on after pipping Kyren Wilson 6-5 in round two of the Betway UK Championship.

Fu's next opponent is Li Hang and while the Chinese is pretty solid on the baize, the Happy Valley ace was once one of snooker's top young talents.

Li had a 137 in his 6-4 last-64 dumping of Xiao Guodong, but Fu posted six runs of between 50 and 100 against Wilson.
