Preview

Bayern Munich v Leipzig

Julian Nagelsmann has not done a lot wrong since leaving Leipzig for Bayern Munich last summer but the Bavarians should be wary of their coach's former club at the Allianz Arena this weekend.

Bayern have established a healthy lead at the Bundesliga summit but Leipzig are starting to find their feet under Domenico Tedesco, having won each of their last four contests.

They booked their spot in the German Cup quarter-finals in that time and have netted at least twice in six of their last eight fixtures.

Dominik Szoboszlai should return for the Red Bulls this week alongside Christopher Nkunku and Andre Silva in a proficient forward line and given the attacking prowess on both sides, a bet on both teams to find the net in a game featuring at least three goals could be the way to go.

Inter v Milan

It is a bumper weekend of football across the continent but the Milan derby at a sold-out San Siro could be the star attraction.

Only four points separate Serie A leaders Inter and their third-placed city rivals - although Inter have a game in hand - and Saturday's contest could be a defining moment in the race for the Scudetto.

And while Milan pose a threat, it is hard to look past a Nerazzurri side who are unbeaten domestically since October.

Since their Champions League loss to Real Madrid, Inter have won seven of their last eight assignments, drawing their other match away to Atalanta.

With Coppa Italia and Champions League ties on the horizon, they are contending on all fronts but the league takes centre stage this weekend and they can beat their rivals, who will be vulnerable at the back with Fikayo Tomori and Simon Kjaer both absent.

St-Etienne v Montpellier

Backing Ligue 1 basement boys St-Etienne to win a match has been hard to justify this season but this could be the week they start to turn their campaign around.

It has taken longer than he would have liked but Pascal Dupraz, who took over Les Verts in December, finally got his first win in charge against Angers last time out and St-Etienne are worth chancing to make it back-to-back wins.

Having been depleted by personnel playing at the Africa Cup of Nations, the club confirmed seven-goal skipper Wahbi Khazri will be available to face Montpellier this weekend to reinforce their attack.

Visitors Montpellier, meanwhile, have won only three times on the road this term and St-Etienne look a decent draw-no-bet proposition.
