Preview
Lens v Lyon
In a congested battle for a top-five berth in Ligue 1, Lyon are among the form sides and their confidence should be sky-high after a 2-0 win over Nice on Saturday.
Peter Bosz's men completely controlled that contest, limiting their opponents to only one shot and 39 per cent possession.
Home is certainly where the heart has been for Lyon, who have also held PSG to a draw and beaten St-Etienne and Marseille at the Groupama Stadium since the start of the year.
And while improving away form will be key if they are to climb into the top five, they should not be fazed on the road to Lens.
Lens got back to winning ways against lowly Bordeaux last time out, winning 3-2, but they had been 3-0 up after 26 minutes and looked shaky towards the end.
Before that match Lens were on a three-game losing streak in all competitions and they look worth opposing against Les Gones.
Stuttgart v Bochum
The standout result in the Bundesliga last weekend was Bochum's 4-2 dismantling of pacesetters Bayern Munich on Saturday.
Thomas Reis saw his team establish a 4-1 advantage at the break and, perhaps even more impressively, they held off a second-half onslaught to seal three points.
They are now unbeaten in four matches in all competitions and although they are a much stronger force on home soil, even on their travels they should have enough to see off Stuttgart, who have won only four of their 22 league games and are embroiled in a relegation battle.
Granada v Villarreal
A draw with Real Madrid would ordinarily be looked upon as a decent result but Unai Emery described the point his Villarreal side took from last Saturday's match with Los Blancos as "insufficient".
That highlights the aspirations of the Yellow Submarine, who won the Europa League last season and are preparing for a Champions League last-16 tie with Juventus next Tuesday.
First on the agenda, though, are Granada and Villarreal should fancy their chances of winning.
They have lost only one of their last five games, drawing with Atletico Madrid and beating Mallorca and Real Betis as part of that run, and have been coping well with the absence of forward Gerard Moreno.
Granada are on a four-match losing sequence and are worth taking on.
