Wasps and Northampton boast just one win each after four rounds of the Premiership season, but the Saints have shown a far greater attacking threat and if they can knit together an 80-minute performance they look a good bet to come out on top when the pair meet in Coventry.

Saints' three defeats have come against Sale, Leicester and Harlequins, who all sat in the top five heading into the weekend's matches, while Wasps' only win has been against bottom side Bath.

Even in that tough run of fixtures Northampton have managed 14 tries and two try-bonus points, and they top the charts for metres made, offloads and defenders beaten.

That hasn't been enough against the quality of opposition they have faced but this is a good chance to take the spoils in a fixture that has been closely fought over the last three seasons.

Saints have won four of the six contests in that period, but five of the six matches have been settled by six points or fewer.

An away win by one to 12 points can be backed at 9-4, or Northampton are offered a three-point start on the handicap. But it may be best to keep it simple and back the Saints to simply gain the win their performances have merited.
