After a shaky start to the season Exeter have chalked up back-to-back victories with some key players back in the side, and although a trip to Wasps should prove a decent test, it's one they can pass.

For a team whose game is built so much on forward power, absences up front were felt keenly in the first two rounds as they fell to defeat at Leicester and at home to Northampton.

But with troops returning up front the Chiefs first won at Sale and then thrashed Worcester 42-5 at home last weekend.

It would be dangerous to get too carried away with those results - Sale have also been struggling with internationals missing while Worcester finished bottom of the pile last season - but Wasps' two home wins out of two also need some qualifying.

They impressed with a 44-8 romp against Bristol first time out, but the Bears' lack of a proper pre-season appears to have been exposed now, and they were under early pressure against Northampton last week before the Saints' lack of discipline cost them.

Exeter are probably the best-drilled side in the Premiership and they should have a strong advantage up front against a Wasps pack featuring debutant Dan Frost at hooker in place of the injured Tom Cruse.

British & Irish Lions Luke Cowan-Dickie, Jonny Hill and Sam Simmonds all line up again in the Chiefs pack along with powerhouse regulars Harry Williams, Dave Ewers and Richard Capstick, and Exeter's forward strength should tell.
