Waratahs v Blues
Sky Sports 5, 10.45am Saturday

The Waratahs have lost their last three home games but they showed enough fight in their 29-16 victory at the Reds last weekend to make a battle of it when the Auckland Blues visit.

The New South Wales side have passed the 20-point mark in their last five matches and can at least stay close to a Blues outfit who piled more than 50 points on the Rebels in Melbourne in round one but have come nowhere near those scoring heights since.

The Blues haven’t won in Sydney since 2003 and if they break that run it may not be by much.

Recommendation
Waratahs +6

Los Jaguares v Sunwolves
Sky Sports 3, 10.40pm Saturday

Los Jaguares have lost four on the bounce including their first home defeat but they should get back to winning ways against the Sunwolves in Buenos Aires.

The Sunwolves’ only win of the campaign was by a single point against the Bulls in Tokyo and that was the only match in which they have not shipped at least four tries.

They put up plenty of fight in a 27-20 defeat to the Chiefs last week but the powerful Jaguares pack should wear them down.

Recommendation
Jaguares to win by 11 to 20 points
1pt 16-5 Betfair

The Sharks are 15-point favourites at home to the Force (2.05pm Saturday, Sky Sports red button) while in the non-televised fixture (4.15pm Saturday) the Crusaders give up 13 points at the Bulls.
