Ulster were thumped 64-7 by Munster at Thomond Park on Saturday following a tiring trip to South Africa but they can bounce back and sneak another Pro14 inter-provincial tussle with Connacht.

Ulster have beaten Scarlets and Edinburgh at the Kingspan Stadium this campaign by a combined margin of three points and won last season's Belfast meeting 16-8. The Galway gang lost an attritional home inter-pro with Leinster 20-3 on Saturday and were beaten 17-10 at Edinburgh in their only away game.

Glasgow showed their 38-28 loss at the Kings a fortnight ago to be a blip with a fluent 29-13 home success over the Dragons last Friday and they should account for Zebre easily enough.

However, the Parma-based outfit do possess an attacking threat if taken lightly so the best-value bet at Scotstoun looks to be a try for Alex Dunbar.

George Horne and Adam Hastings are an electric Warriors half-back pairing and they love feeding fellow Scotland men Dunbar, who has crossed four times in his last 14 league outings, and Huw Jones in their midfield.

At Murrayfield, Edinburgh are taken to give up 14 points to the Cheetahs (FreeSports, 7.35pm Friday).

Richard Cockerill's charges showed real attacking spark in beating Benetton 31-30 last Friday after arguably the hardest first four fixtures in the competition but the grizzly coach will want a more complete performance. The Cheetahs will be buoyed by their losing bonus point in Cardiff, but their tries-conceded count for the campaign is up to 28.
