Super Rugby semi-final: Crusaders v Hurricanes betting preview, tip & TV details
Champion Crusaders look a cut above
TV: Sky Sports Action, 8.35am Saturday
The Crusaders are 12-point favourites to reach their third successive Super Rugby final at the expense of the Hurricanes and it is hard to see anything but a home win in Christchurch.
The Canes have suffered just three defeats all season, but that includes both meetings with the champion Crusaders, by eight points at home in Wellington and by 16 in Christchurch in round two.
These are two high-scoring teams, but while the Hurricanes possess the real stardust in their backline, marshalled by All Blacks fly-haf Beauden Barrett, the Crusaders have the edge up from with an all-international tight five and they look ready to take control of the game.
The Crusaders dominated the set-piece in their last clash with the Hurricanes and have won four in a row against their New Zealand rivals.
It could be high-scoring but the Crusaders should maintain a comfortable enough cushion.
Recommendation
Crusaders to win by 11 to 20 points
