Hurricanes v Sharks

Where to watch

Sky Sports Arena, 6.05am Saturday

Best bet

Sharks +4 on first-half handicap
2pts Evs BoyleSports

Match preview

The Sharks were hugely impressive against the Highlanders last week and will look to build on that against a Canes side with a lot of miles under their belts having played the last two weekends in South Africa and Argentina.

The Hurricanes took 150 minutes to find their first try of the season and fought back from 23-12 down to beat Los Jaguares 26-23 in round two.

Back on home soil they could be slow into their stride against a confident Sharks side who have lost two of their last six away matches. They were seven-point underdogs against the Highlanders last week but blew them away 42-20.

Key stat

Five of the Hurricanes’ last six home wins have been by 12 points or fewer.

Brumbies v Highlanders

Where to watch

Sky Sports Arena, 8.15am Saturday

Best bet

Brumbies to win by one two 12 points
1pt 17-10 bet365

Match preview

The Brumbies have won their last ten home matches and are five-point favourites to extend that run.

The Highlanders could find no way through the Sharks’ blitz defence last week but may get more joy against a Brumbies side who have scored ten tries but shipped seven in two matches.

The last four meetings have been won by the Highlanders, the most recent in 2018, but the hosts look in better shape to keep up their impressive start.

Key stat

Three of the Highlanders' last four defeats in Australia have been by one to 12 points.

Lions v Stormers

Where to watch

Sky Sports Arena, 1.05pm Saturday

Best bet

Stormers to win by one to 12 points
2pts 17-20 Betway

Match preview

The Stormers have looked physical and focused in their opening two victories and they can get the better of a Lions side who looked to be struggling in the scrum against the Reds last week.

History is against the visitors, who have lost five of their last six against the Lions and have won only two of their last 16 matches away from Cape Town.

But their pack have been so dominant in their two fixtures that they can keep the Lions on the back foot and edge another win.

Key stat

The Stormers have not conceded a single point in the opening two rounds.
