Scarlets and Munster will be looking to make amends after missing out on the Pro12 playoffs last season but the Welsh outfit look far better placed to start their season with a bang at home today.
Head coach Wayne Pivac names 11 internationals in his squad with new signing Rhys Patchell starting at fly-half, but Munster are without most of their star names. There’s no Conor Murray, Keith Earls, Francis Saili, Peter O’Mahony or CJ Stander, and the handicap was pushed from three to five points soon after the teams were named yesterday lunchtime.
