Match preview

South Africa pushed New Zealand all the way in the 100th meeting between the nations last weekend, going down 19-17 to a 78th-minute penalty.

And they have made no bones about their intentions to use the same high-pressure tactics in the final round of this year's Rugby Championship as they seek to end a run of three defeats.

Last week's victory sealed the Rugby Championship title for the All Blacks and coach Ian Foster has made a few changes while the Springboks have stuck with largely the same team bar their two props.

So South Africa look to have the greater focus and continuity but there's no getting away from New Zealand's x-factor. They grabbed the first try last week after just three minutes, and Rieko Ioane's move from the centre to the wing may well give him more chances to shine.

However, the pressure the Boks bring to bear, especially through their aerial kicking game, is sure to be relentless. They looked comfortable in the set-piece last week and South Africa are the pick with a double-figure handicap start.
