The first leg of the 1872 Cup between Glasgow and Edinburgh headlines an exciting day of Pro14 action.

Glasgow's Champions Cup chances were dealt a major blow by a home defeat to La Rochelle last weekend while Edinburgh are in a strong position to progress in the Challenge Cup after home and away wins over Wasps.

Edinburgh's success this season has been built on solid defence - only Leinster have conceded fewer points - and they look set to build on a hugely impressive away win against Munster in their last Pro14 match.

There are two Welsh derbies for punters to get stuck into. At Rodney Parade, the Scarlets will be hoping for their first away win in the Pro14 this season against the Dragons, while in Swansea, Ospreys welcome back some key Welsh internationals and could go close against the Cardiff Blues.

Munster have opted to rest a number of front-line players for their clash in Galway against Connacht.

Those are the top two in Conference B and Connacht are looking to continue their strong form at home. Munster's 31-24 victory in January is one of only two home defeats Connacht have suffered in 2019 and Andy Friend's side will want to finish their home year off in style.
